Hello,

this is some of my very  first test-footage with the Mavic 2 Zoom. Because of bad wheather there have only been a few flights during short sunny periods. But it looks promising anyway. Stay tuned for more.

thanks for all the replies. Unforntunately wheather is still bad here, so i cannot shoot a extended new version (using new waypoints) so far ...
For those, who want to know more about the location, here the area with the pilots position marked. So you can check out ... (in reallity or virtually by Google)
By the way: there are many restrictions in Germany to fly drones legally. This most hopefully was fully legal ...

Great footage, nice start

Besause there were several sunny days in the last weeks,  i was able to continue with intense testing and practising. And after about 100 take-offs , more than  8h flying time  and about 75 km i've got a quite qualified impression what the drone can do and what not. To be brief my conclusios:

- the drone is high-quality and reliable
- precision landing and return to home always worked fine
- the drone never disconnected
- performance in general as promised
- for the given sensor-size the image quality is good; the zoom function was crucial for me - most shots have been taking with the longer focal length

But:
- always have an eye on the focus, despite of af / afc I sometime got out of focus
- ND filters haven't been used yet - old issue - trials to remove the lens-cover have been suspended while testing and practising
- WP 2.0 failed in several points - there will be an separate video on that soon
