Wasn't terribly daring, it's my own land that I know well and have flown that route many times before. Going between the trees took several attempts in tripod mode

I meant it was daring not due to visibility but high humidity. Electricity and water don't mix nicely.

Ah. Wonder if that contributed to my problems? Thought these things were fairly well sealed.

Nice video Spandit! Loved the dog have a good time in the snow. When your drone lost connection with the controller did it just fall out of the sky and not initiate RTH?

it initiated RTH which meant it started a climb and hit the tree. Think it's OK but haven't flown it since partly due to the weather and partly because I've been busy

Thanks. Still haven't tried it again but it didn't fall from too high and fell onto a soft surface. Too windy today
