Hi pauschpage, great footage! I'm just curious: I didn't dare to bring my M2P to Austria due to their massive restrictions, as you can't fly a drone virtually anywhere without getting an official allowance by austro control, which is bloody expensive (afaik ~300€/year). How risky is it not to do that? I think the fines are devastating as well!? Do you have the official 'golden ticket'?

I'm glad you're liking the video.
Yes, the drone regulations in Austria are really strict. Also the process of getting a license is quite hard.
You have to apply and wait for about three months. Also you'll need an insurance for your drone (not the drone itself, but in case you cause damages). You will then get a test year with you license - after that one you kinda have to provide a flight data record. With the license you could only fly up to 120m and visible distance. You have to be away from buildings, power lines, skilifts etc. You could only fly in rural untouched regions. Only on weekdays.
All those things get quite pricy, 500 € +

I know, this sounds really difficult, thats the official rules we have.
People just really don't like drones here.

I never fly here when people are around.

no, i have a valid license!

I was on the Großglockner Hochalpenstraße last year and really missed my drone...
