Perhaps... Isn't that cool? I agree it looks scary right because of the non movement of the whale. I have a long footage of this and at one point Mama whale went up and sprouted. Such a  great view.

After watching mother whales recently, supporting their deceased baby, it was heart breaking for me.

‘Infant’ , I tear up now, just thinking about a mother carrying her still baby,

I have a lot of memories, of employment at our renowned University Hostpital... from the birthing case rooms to the often gloomy autopsy suite/morgue. Where I worked, first thing every morning...


Glad you reafirmed my faith...

Whales are such an emotionally upsetting subject for me, living in Canada, and all that happened the past few years

Sadly, with whales dieing in the Vancouver aquarium, and the wild ones having distressed times as well.

It’s been a tough time for those wonderful creatures.
