Hello all,

I've always used IOS products as my controller device with the RC but now need an Android device (to operate the Follow mode in Litchi). I'm looking for a large phone/small tablet sized device that will fit in the controller without using a separate mount. It will only be used for the RC so I don't want to spend a great deal on it. IF someone was asking me this for an IOS device i'd probably recommend a professionally refurbished Iphone 6 Plus that you could get for £140-160.

Can you good people recommend me a similar sized Android device, preferrably for £150 or less (second hand). I'm presuming the Amazon Fire 7 tablet would not be suitable?

They don't appear to be on DJI's list but check out ZTE. They make larger sized Android phones

look for Huawei phones with minimum the specs of the mediapad m3 (8.4)
It is just not fitting in the controller, but it works well with litchi!
But: I got me a simple tablet holder and have not  tried, yet, if the mod for the rc which should fit a samsung tab 4 / 8'', would give another 5mm space, to fit the huawei too.
The mod is just to dremel a bit off the RC housing, to spread the arms a bit wider.

All the Android devices on that list are £300+ for secondhand/refurbished models, i thought it was supposed to be Apple products that were the rip off!!

Do you have any recommendations on a model number?

Anyone use a Huawei P Smart? Seems to have similar specs to an Iphone 7?

Model number no. Check out their "Max" line of phones.

@MKPSG12, you can find a list of commonly used mobile devices here.

After going through almost every option on the list i've finally found a Xiaomi Note 5 for less than £200 so i've bought that. Fingers crossed it will be up to scratch!

Xiaomi Mi PAd4 > 8 inch * (fits in MA controller, not in Spark controller)

Look for the samsung j4 2018.  It's $150 and had a large amoled screen which allows for super bright lighting

Samsung S6 (Edge) should be well within the budget. And it is on a list.
