Dunluce Castle - Northern Ireland - Illuminated by Mavic 2 Pro

I know its not a drone shot, but Mavic was very much contributing to make this shot possible.
Despite the strong wind, it turned out to be really great as the main light in this scene.

Holy cow that's a cool shot! Was this using just the built in light on the underside of the Mavic 2?

Wow, how could you get such an awesome quality in the night with no noise? What settings were you using?

Stacking is where you take an photo and multiply it by putting the same photo on top of each other, each addition creates more exposure and more detail comes out. This has been a method favoured by astrophotographers for a long time for bringing out faint detail

How  do you eliminate noise with that? And do you just take the same exact files and stack it or do you take several pictures with different settings and stack those like an AEB?

This is absolutely superb! Mind to share what was the gear used to shoot and exposition details?
This looks like either long exposition or some kind of stacking/bracketing. Really fantastic!!!

DJI, this is definitelly DIGEST worthy!!!!

20 images taken with camera on a tripod ( 25s, F2.8, ISO 4000 )
- 15 images stacked for the sky to reduce noise.
- 5 for the Castle and Mavic illuminating the structure ( trace of Mavic removed from sky )

Some levels adjustment for contrast and highlights and thats pretty much it.

Nice, is the noise automatically decreased when you stack them together? What program did you use? Lightroom? And when you had the portion of the sky and the portion of the castle in 2 seperate pictures, did you mask them together or how did you combine them?

Yes, you just mask the bottom section.
Because the stars are in constatn motion when they are aligned and each frame is shifted, the bottom part have to be replaced by your regular shot.

How do you make sure the stars overlap each other and don't have an offset? Sorry about those many questions, I've googled about that method and it seems like it's really not that easy to get it done right.

Is fairly easy, use one of the programs for stacking. DeepSkyStacker, StarStaX etc. The software will alight these for you, it would be very difficult to align so many frames manually.
