DJI Care Refresh - Purchase after the fact?

I purchased a MP2 last year and had it for 28 days before the RC and MP2 stopped being able to connect to each-other.

Today, 46 days after returning it to the vendor, I was informed that my MP2 finally arrived in China/Hong Kong and that it will be repaired and tested within the next 2-3 working days.

Given what I have recently learnt about the reliability of the MP2, about DJI's after sales support and how damn long it takes to send stuff to China from South Africa, I'm strongly considering getting DJI Care Refresh.

I see that purchasing care refresh after the first few days of activation requires the user to take some extensive video footage to prove that the aircraft is in a working condition.

My question is this - since the MP2 is currently in for "repairs" - would it be possible to purchase care refresh without jumping through all the hoops of submitting video evidence? (In other words, can DJI confirm and allow me to activate Care Refresh whilst they have the MP2 in their posession?)

Hi there, thank you for reaching out and we're sorry to hear about the trouble. About your question actually yes you can purchase DJI Care Refresh for your Aircraft. However, you need to wait for it first to get fixed. Then once the Aircraft is on the Transit mostly likely you will be going to receive an email invitation to purchase the DJI Care Refresh, If none we would recommend sending an email here directly djicare@dji.com for further assistance.
