On my last trip I had ample opportunity to test the DJI Osmo Pocket.
Here is a comparison with the Panasonic FZ1000. I held the cameras out of the window with my hand down.

Of course, the stabilization of the DJI Pocket is especially good.
Almost unbelievable that no tripod was used.
FZ1000 in automatic, the pocket on standard.

Kinda an apples and oranges comparison, don’t you think. You forgot about the 400mm side of the 1000. A better comparison would be the Revo vs OP, or the Osmo Mobile 2 vs  OP.

Yay! Another FZ1000 user. I brought that along for my trip but it pretty much ended up in the hotel room most of the time. There were times that I wish I had brought it along for the day so I can use the zoom for distant objects but just don't want to carry it around all day on bus and trains. Here's 2 videos shot on Mt Fuji 2 years apart.
OIS was off on the FZ1000, didn't notice till later on the trip, must have accidentally moved the switch when I was moving the camera in the camera bag.

Yes, that is right. I was interested in only the quality of thef the recordings  of the Pocket in comparison with the FZ1000. And then I noticed that the recordings with the small, but much cheaper and easier-to-use pocket are very good.

Yep but can it zoom like the 1000? As the previous poster said apples and oranges. Both are FANTASTIC devices but kind of serve different purposes. If you need no zoom etc the pocket is the better choice.
