Possible responses.
a) Fly drone straight up at maximum ascent rate.

b) Go on attack, fly drone right into them.  Few critters want to tangle with aggressive others.

c) Rack back that 10-gauge, and prepare to do some plucking before dinner.

What a gem of a capture. He could copyright the image and sell it then buy another M2P - always a silver lining That said, never fly too close to birds - especially ducks and gulls.
