A speculative query here............... Want the Mavic 2 - Have some money saved up. Planning to buy this year 100%. SO........ When do they normally reduce in price as a rule? Obviously not yet. Shall I wait a few months? I guess its normally reduced when the new drone is announced.

Indeed I did my friend. Haha last time i checked we were on the exact same page. Its the last Friday of November every single year so I wasn't argueing with you just saying I obviously have a little wait on my hands.

Being latest release and hottest toy I can guarantee you that all you possibly save is around $100. $200 if you catch that sale. Meaning to save 1-2 hundreds you will deprive yourself from some fun times this year.
Your best bet is a release of new drone like Phantom 5 and or Phantom 5 Zoom. In that case you May see some real good deals.

Why do you want mavic 2? For work, for fun, for bragging rights?
Because there are drones out there that can produce stunning video in 4K 60fps. Something that mavic 2 can’t do. It’s got it advantages but also a price tag.

Well thats still a saving so i'd take it Haha we shall see, i own a spark and still enjoy it, im a patient man. Yeah exactly that buddy, which i'm sure is on the horizon.
I want one to take better photo / video, do time lapses and earn me good commercial money. Bragging rights>>? HAHA not likely, i'll get abuse for spending so much etc before i gets daps.

Wait till end of the year, save up some DJI Credits so that you get some extra discount

If you want to spend a little more total but pay it out - Check QVC
Sometimes they have DJI products at 5 easy payments.
Most of the time it is 3 payments and I would not call that "easy".
