So I recently crashed my DJI spark into a light pole while taking some videos on vacation. I was going pretty fast and the arm came clean off. The motor got ripped off at the solder joints too but it looks like it could be soldered back. I’ve heard that it can be expensive to get DJI to repair this problem. If anyone has any tips or any information that could help out, it would be much appreciated!

After posting this I just realized there is a very sizable crack in the arm behind it.

Send it in to service if you have DJI Care Refresh.
If not, still send it in.
Not as expensive as you think

Best and the safest thing is to send to dji to repair. Please don't glue that, it is not safe.

My spark has been glued on one of its rear wings since December 2017
Absolutely no issues since then

I am agree. But there is a tons of different types of glues. Cracks is different, this one is really big. This should work if he glued with melted plastic. If this was my drone I will definitely contact dji for suggestions.

There was a post, once, with a link to the DJI -site , spareparts (not sure that the link came from a mod) , a middle frame was just 15 US, if I recall that right
So the question is, do you live in a area with high labor or with low labor.
With low labor, like here in Thailand, the changing of a middleframe would be about 50 US
In Europe, however it would be more like 1xx Euros.
Which leads you to the other option, buying the middle frame and changing it yourself.
Or asking someone, who can do that. And would do that inexpensivly

Contact DJI support and tell them your problem, they will made a case for you and let them fix it.

looks like an easy repair job

Send it to dji and let them fix it

Ebay or Amazon both have parts, its an easy tear down just watch the ribbon cables
