So basically I just needed to vent. Yesterday my P4Pro was stolen out of my car. I can not begin to tell you how upset I am that this happened. I finally found a hobby that I love and then this happens.

So a reminder to everyone here on the forum, please make sure your keeping your drone safe while in your vehicle or home. I would recommend covering it or storing it in a cubby while in your car. Out of sight, out of mind.

Now the hard part begins. Saving up for a new bird

I had it in a Lowepro backpack but it wasn’t covered with anything so whom ever looked in saw it and figured it was something good.

I am truly sorry for your loss on this because of some shady bar stewards. Would your house/car insurance pick up on the loss for you?

They'll lift anything that's not nailed down nowadays, and sometimes even that.

I have no idea but guessing DJI has a hands off approach on this.
Might be interesting to check.
Blacklist per serial numbers like Apple?
Would assume DJI would be able to see each piece of equipment - drone, controller, battery if any of it is seen again on their site.

Can't you use the Dji go 4 app and and use the find my drone

Might be covered under either your car or house insurance ?

Good idea, I believe that should work.
Espcially if the person (M,F or T) test it in their back garden/yard, GPS signal and bingo!

Auto deductible is a $1000 and since I bought the P4P on craigslist I have no poof of purchase. Painful lesson but leaned from it fr sure.
