What can be added to Spark 2 besides 4K camera and keep it at that price range?

Nope - the Spark is a niche market low cost hobby drone.  Adding new features will drive the cost up and compete with the Mavic line.

I could see them making it even smaller and foldable which people would love (I could care less about the size).

I agree except two years later, the same technology is less expensive so they could upgrade some tech and still keep cost down.

Yeah - I did think about that but usually what happens is as the price of tech goes down the cost of doing business goes up so the net is close to 0.00

Ocusync... which is proper SDR mostly, nothing to do with too much HW.... there is gazillion of really cheap SDR chips ranging from Realtek to some anonymous chinese spinoffs and/or copycats.

I think the Mavic Air was all but in name the Spark 2. So a Mavic Air 2 (Spark 3) may come out this year.

I just hope for a firmware update with some more features. (waypoints, RAW photos, ect.)

They still can with a Mavic Air 2 - a Tello 2 may also be on the horizon for those with entry level budgets. I can not see DJI investing in a specific Spark 2 and keeping it to only 1080p with minor enhancements to sustain its price band - DJI is about innovation and progression. I strongly doubt you'll ever see a Spark 2.

Not as well as the Mavic's - hence Mavic Air. They'll probably update the FW on the Spark but the MA is its successor and that was released over a year ago. The Spark was released in May 2017 and DJI do not take two years to update/refresh any drone - especially an entry level consumer grade.
