Yesterday I filmed a drive out of the car.

Back at home - My Disappointment was great.
At first I realized that the SD card was not inserted.

The videos were saved on the iPhone in 1080p but not in 4k .
The hint on the display I overlooked while driving.

Edius refuses to import the clips.
No idea why.

The recordings are useless for me, unfortunately I have to repeat the process.

Please Support: Either refuse to save to Smartphone, or in the set format, including in 4k.

What exactly is the problem?  You forgot to insert a SD card? You failed to noticed the warning on the screen?
Sorry but can not support your request!  

I belive that:

• only a small group of owner failed to use the equipment correctly.
• there are users out there wants to have a small files on the phone for quick posting to social media or email and have the full size file for their home edit.

The clips are stored on the iPhone not in 4k, but only in full HD. And in addition, my Edius video editing program can not handle the clips.

All other clips from iPhone in 4k and Full HD also with Filmic Pro can be handled.

Hi, we're sorry to know about this situation. You should be notified on the application that there was no SD card inserted on your Osmo Pocket upon using it. The resolution on the mobile phone is a lower version of your recording due to that it's only cache files. And also to lessen the space that it would occupy on the storage of your mobile device. The original files of your recording or photo should be on the SD card. Thank you for understanding.

Try using iMovie for editing.  Simple, straight forward and designed to run on the iPhone, iPad, iMac, iPod.  Make some minor edits and save to a format that your primary editor accepts.

Thanks, that's a good tip. I just tested it. This is the easiest and fastest way.

Comparing the file properties you can see the differences.

Now I can easily import the file created by iMovie in my video editing program.

Probably I will not use it in the future, since iPhone is not stored in 4K.
