What are the settings that will give the best footage if I'm not using D-Log H265 for recording?

This is a great question, at the moment I using normal colour +1 sharp -1 contrast and 0 saturation

Best exposure value  + Best White Balance value = Best footage.


For each place and each time.

Landscape Mode to get some balanced Contrast & Saturation and +1 Sharpness. That will give you an organic and beautiful image out of the camera without post needed. Keep the other values at 0.

Colour profile wise, vivid is very popular if you dont want to colour code a d-log-m video

By the way Ahmed, the Mavic doesn't shoot video in RAW (lol again). It shoots D-Log 10 Bit at its best. 2nd, every good photographer or videographer CARES in PRE not in post. 3d, camera settings DEFINITELY affect image output. You wrote Correct Exposure (that's right) + White Balance (that's wrong. Actually WB CAN be optimized in post). In addition, over sharpening in camera WILL introduce artifacts that you will not be able to fix in post.

It would be nice if folks with little to any idea of what they're talking about could stop making silly comments...

Good photographers and videographers cares in post not in pre (they pay more for best editing application) wake up!

Kid I don't know what you are smoking but:

1. The OP is asking about video settings. Your answer is irrelevant to the topic
2. I am shooting professionally for +20 years and what you said is the biggest joke in the industry. I would suggest you stop it here not to further embarrass yourself.

Photography is all about PRE. POST production will never make a photo.
I believe we have 2 ears and 1 mouth for a reason... do some research before coming here spilling all that nonsense please.
