My brand new DJI pocket osmo bricked itself after a firmware update.

Took it back to DJI Thailand support center, they made me pay 2000 baht ($65 USD) to ship it back to China for repair. Refused to look at it in house.

Is this normal? Utterly awful customer support, what point is a warranty if you have to pay to get your product repaired under warranty.

I'm furious, seeking out anywhere online I can find to leave a 1 star review.

May we verify where did you purchase the Osmo Pocket? Could you please provide us the name of the dealer and the serial number of your device?

DJI in Thailand really needs some external tweaking.

I myself am still undergoing a prolonged experience with the China shipment for a minor repair, over four months wait now... Utterly useless.
