Now I am shooting with Cinelike D mostly, ND filter become a must use accessory for the OP.

Just love the smooth footage I can get with ND filter.

However, carrying and using ND filter become a real hassle.

Bulky size of the case is one thing but juggling between OP, Case, Case cover and ND filter is a job needs more than 2 hands.
Constantly dropping filters and finally losing one.

I had to find a better solution and been doing some searching.

Case001.JPG
Case003.JPG

What I got is simple business card case made of stainless steel. (One that magnet sticks)
It securly holds filters and also way easier to use.
You can fit upto 12 filters (but who would need) or store phone connecter in there as well.

Now OP and this case is my daily setup.

Smaller is better but this is the pretty much smallest I can find.
It makes ND Filter using experience 10 times better.

Amazingly simplistic idea. Nice! I have 9 filters so far (and I didn't want to have to carry multiple cases).
This is perfect (thank you)!

I think PgyTech have the best case design. I got 2 of the Set version case (hold 6 each) from the ND-PL set and the Graduated set and 2 of the single (hold 5 each) from the CPL and the UV and I bought a Freewell Clear Night. I can fit all 10 in the 2 Single version metal case and they are compact enough to carry everywhere. But I mostly use the set case as it just snap open and the cover will magnetically attach to the bottom of the case. The filters are held to the case using their own magnet so it's the same idea as the business card case and I can easily access the filters even if I have the OP in one hand.

Yeah I definitely noticed Pgytech magnetic cover set case. Looks most thoughtfully designed.
I also wanted something more slimmer, can hold different size filters and cover is not seperated for one hand operation. (Cause I hold OP in other hand.)

I can open the set case, snap the cover on the back, remove/attach filter from the case while having the OP in my other hand. have not tried doing it with the Single case though (blame the weather, so much rain so I hardly see a sunny day) ;-(

Oh you can open it with one hand. I didn’t know that. That would be perfect.

Yea, you press down on one edge and the cover snaps open and it will attach to the bottom of the case magnetically.

I knew it was one touch magnetic cover but didn’t see from anywhere it is also one hand flipable cover.

Good to know.

Got my S Troikaus Slim Credit Card Case today and I am not disappointed. It's fantastic. Really nice textured feeling on the outside of the case. Inside I think I could put over a dozen filters (I only have 3 NDs at the moment). What an excellent find, thanks so much to the original poster!

I think you bought an ALUMINIUM case - NOT magnetic.
But you can clue magnetic paper (0.5mm, even with foam)
or a thin iron plate inside to fix OP lenses.
Advantage of such cases: price  $1 , they are small und you get nice colors

steel cases

There are stainless steel that sticks to magnet and don’t depend on it’s alloy composition.

It is not usually mentioned which make it hard to know before hand.
