Hi

I know there is a lot of phantompilots out there that are pretty frustrated over this problem, and the solution is a surprise, and easy to fix.

On the gimbal there are 2 cables, these cable you take out of their places, and then you use spirit or other dissipating solvent to clean the contacts and be very maticolous about it.

When it all have dried, put the whole thing together and camera should work perfectly. This is a very strange thing but it works very well

Happy flying

Hi there, thank you for sharing some tips that may help other members, but if ever doing this make sure you have enough knowledge about this to avoid any problem. Best regards!

Yeah, that has nothing to do with picture lag. It is a symptom of the MPEG method of video encoding used in the aircraft. The device you use on the RC unit is the problem. If it is not able to decode the MPEG stream fast enough, you get lag. Reducing the lag means putting a device on the RC unit that has a faster processor.

This have everything to do with vodeo lag,and the reason for this,is that if there is any loose og dirty contacts, the system will need to try several times to transfer video, and there you got the lag. It's essential that these contacts are absolutely clean,if not clean them and the problem is solved.I just did and everything works PERFECT !

It has nothing to do with lag. The aircraft does not use any form of handshaking between itself and the RC unit, the video is sent using forward error correction. It is like saying if your car won't start then wash the windscreen.

And for those using an inadequate display device (which is the most common cause of video lag), it still won't help.

Not nonsense, just technical reality, as against the urban mythology you are propagating. You are obviously not technically qualified to know what causes lag.
