Hi. This video shows a simple but very effective way of cutting down wind distortion for the internal mics on the Osmo Pocket.
I'll post another example soon with much stronger wind and I'll be posting a suggestion for a video rig that accommodates microphones and wireless lav receivers for those people who may already have the Pocket's USB/3.5mm audio adaptor.
BTW. Does anyone know where I can get the Pocket's USB/3.5mm audio adaptor from in the U.K.? I'm desperate to try out the Pocket with my shotguns and cardioid mics.
I'm also working on a modification of a rubber case for the Pocket that I've done a very simple adaptation on that allows the use of a couple of Rycote Micro Windjammers, these are basically deadcats. I've used these before on actioncams and they're excellent at reducing wind without altering the tone of the mics too much.
Here's an example with an actioncam, it may give other Pocket users some ideas.
