I saw a couple other threads, but they seemed inconclusive.
Thought I'd raise the topic in case I missed something.

While going in a straight line in sport mode, I noticed that letting go of the joysticks, the spark with brake then drift momentarily to its left.
This only happens in sport mode and only after letting go of sticks after accelerating in a straight line.

I've tried at different heights and with different textures below with same results.

Any idea what's going on?

This is a problem.

While flying today, I braked in sport mode and the drone soon almost drifted right into a nearby tree.
A brake should be a hover.

Was  the wind coming from the right, perhaps?
-the spark with brake then drift momentarily to its left.-
I could imagine, that the Spark just stops the force to the front and "rolls" out.
Which can be, in the case of wind from the side, also stopping the anti-drift input, for this time.
(But, of course, it shouldn't happen, methinks)

And you experience this only in sport, b/c it needs a bit longer to come to a standstill, perhaps?
Do you have this on every speedlevel, flown in Sport?

I will try to check this out, next time I fly

Btw: Did you brake, or did you let go the sticks?
Braking would be either the "Stop" button or negative input on the sticks.
Letting go the stick is just going of the gas, but not braking!

Its basic laws of physics....and g force.  It is what it is, and not much you can do about it other than give yourself more "drifting/stopping" room before the drone can compensate.

I have the Spark, Air and Phantom 4Pv2.

This issue is also mentioned by other Saprk owners and appears to be a Spark issue. None of this happens with my other drones.

When flying in SPORT mode ONLY, and letting go of the sticks in flight will cause a sharp drift left AFTER the speed is reduced to a hover. It's almost as if the Spark loses its GPS location or is in ATTI mode for a few seconds before regaining its composure.
I've trying duplicating this with the Air and P4Pv2 and couldn't' do it.

I sometimes see this more when there is less sat's (8-12) than the normal amount (13-18).

Interesting...
I would think maybe the AC briefly loses its satellite bearing
