Haven’t tried the vertical panoramic photos  before. Definitely worth trying. I’ve had to crop this one, to fit the form.

Thank you, all done in the DJI GO app. Select camera settings from single shot to Panoramic and you have three to choose from, the circle icon is for the ‘small planet’ that takes 46 photos, the Horizontal panoramic that takes 21 photos, and the Vertical Panoramic that takes 3 photos. You just select which panoramic and keep fairly still whilst your Spark  does the work.  Keep an eye on your battery levels as both the 46 photo Small Planet and 21 photo vertical panoramic take time to do. Good luck!

Good shot. You are lucky with light condition. Here in Ukraine we meet the rain season. Bloody cold rain.

Nice colours. Good to see the perfect blue sky and lush green fields. A very good use of the vertical Pano.

But do start at the level position or do you start with the camera pointed down???  As I recall, someone once did a rectangular pano starting with the camera pointed down.

I don’t think it matters, Spark will take three pictures in Vertical panoramic mode.

Okay...I did a rectangular pano starting with the gimbal pointed full down.  It took a picture looking directing down, then the gimbal rotated up slightly taking a picture, and then the Spark rotated 360 degrees taking seven more pictures around the center, vertical axis. See this picture of what the pano did...see the next reply for just a standard single photo from the same altitude.

I know Sphere reverts the gimbal back to level flight to start.  I think Vertical and 180 would do the same.
