Why it should not work? It's a simple 1:1 cable for some cents.

Sorry, I must be frank to say, the wire-to-wireless-module is totally redundant (the OP thingy is all about portability and convenience, Just picture yourself doing 30minutes timelapse with no flat-ground, I would not like to hold that dangling wireless module for 30 minutes, LOL). The cup shape tripod mount you used, actually prevents you from attaching a wireles module

How I am tackling tripod+wireless module: Use a narrow go pro collar mount thro' OP (actually being a part of back pack mount), which fix to a tripod with a screw, there will be enough space to attach wireless module in OP's bottom. (Don't use the collar mount from expansion set, with it, you need to take away control wheel dial)

There is another solution, the polar pro OP-tripod mount, which let you slide the wireless module in and bottom has a 1/4 inch screw socket, but it cost much more and the whole OP thingy weigh more

p.s. I almost never take the wireless module + control wheel dial + collar mount off from OP, even shooting with OP alone. I can switch to tripod or backpack mount in less then 30 seconds AND NO WIRE ATTACHED

I wonder if this problem of keeping the Pocket powered for extended timelapses has been addressed in the new Pocket 2

I'm using this tripod-wireless module adapter. $9.95 and weighs next to nothing -

Me too.. works a treat - and when not connected to a tripod gives a slightly wider and therefore more stable base aswell.

I use the Ulanzi adapter too. Cheap and cheerful, wireless adapter slides in and has a tripod screw on the base, a lot less hassle and no trailing wires
