In Canada advanced uav operations require a uav pilots licence and a safety compliant uav as of June 1.Thanks to DJI's dilignent work I am now the proud owner of five compliant uavs!

Guess now it's worthwhile upgrading my licence from Basic to Advanced.

However, so far it's only been publicized by DJI themselves; Transport Canada's listing of certified drones does not reflect this as of yet:

It's government, they are slow.  I won't register any of my uav's until the list is updated.

I see an update on the compliance list but only has DJI products with Manufacturer RPAS safety assurance for controlled airspace. However, they aren't listed for safety assurance for flying Near or Over people. Is this something DJI is still working on?

Hopefully they are.  You'd think a Spark with prop guards shouldn't be an issue over people.
