After this latest update, the USB-C cable that comes with Ronin is working to shoot and auto-focus and this is great because we don't need to buy the expensive and weak material Multi-Cable (mine broke few weeks later).

To this cable works with the A7III you have to set the USB Connection on camera to "PC Remote", otherwise it wont work, but with this function the Ronin also charge the camera.

Sometimes this can be useful but for me it's not because I have two Sony batteries that last the whole day and I want to keep the Ronin S battery.

Is that a way to disable this charging?

I just figure out that it has the option USB Power supply inside Camera's menu that you can turn off! I'm happy now! lol

If only they could add support to" Sony A7s2" the F@#$kers

I realized that with the USB-C cable you lost Steady Shot and HDMI output. With the Multi-Cable (sold separately) I used to have this options. Is there anything I can do do keep both features like the Multi-Cable allows?

I used to have the Multi-Cable, but it's really poor made. It broke in few weeks. I bought a cable for my Mavic Pro 2 for 5 USD that is so much better quality than the Multi Cable.

I just got the USB-C to test out some features and I noticed that my simultaneous recording is disabled when the USB-C cable is plugged into my A7III.  Is anyone else having this issue?  Is there any way to enable simultaneous recording to 2 SD cards while using the Ronin-S control of the A7III through USB-C?  Thank You!

I am not able to view my footage while the USB-C cable plugged into the my A7iii. Is this the way it is?
