Anyone have same problems/bad luck with birds?

Birds are no joke! I have some red tail hawks and bald eagles hat have taken a dive at my mavic and Spark just have to out fly them

Another reason not to fly over people, I guess.
I had a fish eagle take a brief interest in my Spark a few days ago. Fortunately he was more interested in the fish because he/she was a big one, and I was flying over water at the time (no dead Spark for Care Refresh).

That really sucks. I have had close calls but never a strike.

That sinks. Was it the same drone twice or 2 different drones?

It was one drone, was repaired twice, and in january 2019 after third crash I need to buy new one.

Was attacked by birds in Wales UK, think they were nesting in the dunes, so I flew out over the beach and they flew away after about 30 feet :-@

My Phantom advanced was attcked by bee's while flying near my home! Don't think they liked the BUZZ :-) had to fly low and fast and  
give my drone a good clean when I got home..

I've had birds fly close but never directly attack my MP.

Once there was a hawk flying towards it so I shifted direction towards the hawk and it re-thought its course quickly.  

I think changing your flight and NOT running is the best solution to avert birds without them touching the drone.

At my example I had no chance to avoid it.

I always feel sorry for the bird.  Those sharp, rigid blades spinning at high speed must do some real damage.

Yeah something came up behind you, but also why I fly within LOS, I can't afford to replace the drone.
