For the last few months, I've been (I like to think) "blazing a trail" through the jungle to make a path from our South beach to our North beach through untouched forest.  These last few weeks the question "How far am I from the top of the hill" has been driving me crazy, thus P4P to answer the question:

A private resort called "Ysla Reina", located on the island of Palawan in the Philippines.
386 hectares of virtually untouched jungle and shorelines.  With the exception of a few trails we are making, we intend to keep it as what we call "the last tropical frontier".

Three months ago someone said my P4P sounded like a chainsaw, reported it to the barangay chairman, and 6 boatloads of officials stormed the beach.  Fortunately for me, the best way to send Philippine government officials in a fast retreat is to ask a lot of questions in ENGLISH so they tucked their tails and fled.
So thanks, those little machines are cute but this is clearly a tree-hugger haven over here.
