Good Morning All,

I have recently changed phones from a Samsung S8 to an S10.  My understanding is that the S8 was the last android phone that is compatible so I've been using my S8 with my spark.  My S8 is not on a network anymore and I've been having trouble updating the no-fly database and firmware.  The firmware will get stuck in an endless loop of "please download"  I'll connect to wifi and download the firmware it will say connect to the drone or controller and update.  When I connect back to the controller it says there is not a network to do the install the download.  Is there a good solution for this?

That may not be helpful for him/her if on W10 with the certificate block issue.

Just do the drone with the computer, like mentioned already.
And the RC, you could insert a sim for the time of the update?

Ah! I use a machine that runs Win7 Pro for the DJI Assistant so I woulnd't know about such problems.

Does the DJI assistant work on Mac? I have a MBP I can use or if worst come to worst set up a Windows 7 VM.  My S8 is was on a different carrier so swapping sims will not work.

Yes, there's a mac version also.

My guess is that it also uses mobile data for updating, try using your S10 for the drone, it works with too.

The S10 is also optimized for using it on the drone.
