Finally got around to making my way to the east side of Lake Tahoe to visit Sand Harbor. The water is absolutely stunning and I was able to catch on video the elusive aquatic mammal, the high mountain diver in his winter habitat. I'm marking this place down on the list to visit during the summer.

Thank you Sherman! I was surprised how many divers were there. some in dry suits some in 9mm neoprene. It looked cool but I only have a 3mm and would most likely freeze to death

Thank you Lux. I would highly recommend it.  I wish I had time to capture the sunset on the windward side of mountains on the east side of the lake.

Thank Hurley. Ironically, I've only seen SH from the sky. Now with both perspectives, I can see it truly is a unique place on the lake.
