Hi guys,
Looks like the Superfine option works very well on the 4K@25/30 fps resolution but it is not supported for 4K@50/60 fps.
Would this great Superfine option be added to 4K@50/60 fps as well on Osmo Pocket?

Definitely not,  Osmo Pocket can not process that much data to be recorded on SD card.

Why? It is just 100Mbit bitrate as the Fine option.

I really don't understand why Osmo Pocket doesn't have the SUPERFINE option available at 4K@60fps only at lower framerates?
Do you have any idea if it is expected to be available in the future?

Superfine not available even on 4k30. To access superfine on 4k, need at 4k20fps.

I think the main reason is the processing power, since it requires more processing on superfine mode (that's the reason the device got hotter upon using the option).

The same reason like how tracking mode isn't available at 4k60

Why superfine? 4k 30/60 is 100 Mbs - always. Superfine in 1080 p is 100 Mbs.
To view a movie with such high dada rate on TV you have to convert it to max. 25 Mbit. You will not see any difference.

Processor power vs heat vs battery life vs cost vs size and weight. If you really want 4K@60 superfine, go spent $2500 on a Panasonic GH5.
BTW, we don't need 4 different thread talking about the same thing.
