I am tired of losing connection so want to use an OTG cable

I bought one off eBay and tested on a table top and seems to work fine

Before I take off though just thought I’d check if this is a supported accessory and if people still recommend it?

How about you check it BEFORE take off on the desk in your living room?
On Droids it is supported, on iOS not official (afaik)

OTG works best with version 4.1.15 (android)

It also works very well with 4.2.21 on Droid 9, 8 and 7

I would not be able to fly without otg. Android phone Huawei p8lite (2017) on go4 1.15. Phone does not work with 5.8, therefor the otg. Developer options enabled of course. FCC mode.
