I’ve seen it on some vids on youtube .
But nobody wrote any explanation beside software glitch .

How about the cam position freezing downward  for a few seconds during fligth ,moving or stationnary ?

Did you use an ND filter?

I see it occasionally in strong wind situations.
Sport mode speed would also contribute.

I use filters but it does that at regular speed or even stationnary .
Usually it unfreeze within less than a minute and it does not do it every flight .
But still it makes me loose precious time and always gives an extra stress .

It's wind, weight or some kind of stress on the gimbal.

I got the same thing and like you, I was flying above the water in Playa del Carmen. I am using the last Beta firmware, v.02.00.0106. DJI didn't give me an explanation. I landed the drone asap and it never happened since that fly.

Mine only does it when strafing right or turning right, never to the left.....
