I did try about 10 times using two apple computers.  It went as far as 71% complete and then it stops with a comment "Calibration Failed".  I am getting frustrated.  Can someone help me please?

I totally understand your frustration. If you can get access to a Windows PC which have the DJI Assistant 2 on it, try doing it on that.
