I bought a 64gb SD card, do I just insert it or do I need to format it somehow?

Should already be formatted correctly if its a decent brand one ( Samsung, SanDisk, lexar )

Then you can just pop it in the Phantom and go flying

If you need to format your memory card, it's best to do it from within the DJI Pilot application.
