Yesterday, POTUS visited his golf club which is across the street from my house.  I really wanted to fly my Mavic Air over the club house to try to get a photo of him getting off Marine One.  I used my better judgment and didn't do it because I am not sure on the laws regarding restricted air space around the President and i was afraid that the Secret Service might shoot my drone down.

Losing your drone would have been the least of your worries.

Unless somebody messed up, there should have been a TFR in place.

Good call not flying. Not a good thing, and losing the drone would have been the least of your concerns. I imagine though the TFR would have been detected anyway once you tried to power up.

Wise move keeping the drone in the bag... Unlike Gatwick airport they would have found you on the spot and I'm sure it would have been your last ever flight to say the least lol

I was thinking the same thing that as soon as I powered up some kind of warning would have come on my screen.
