Recently I've discovered that when my two RC are connected in MASTER to SLAVE mode where the master is usually(but not always) the Cedence and the salve is the default RC for the Inspire 2, if the antennas are not facing each other rather perfectly(look at the image foer reference) I will lose the link past 5-6m of distance(even a 90° offset will trigger the disconnect) where if the antennas are watching each other i can walk at least 30 to 40m away(by far less than the stated 100m anyway).Ofcourse the RCs are updated before you ask.
I think this is not how the products were intended to work and I'm about to send them back for assistance but before that I'd like a word from anyone with some experience on the matter.

Its a know issue.. Especially in CE country. Only solution is the multilink

They sell this thing claiming 100m....
I'm not willing to throw more money at them blindly when I should already have the feature i payed for.

Good, don't throw money at them. That's what reinforces this behavior. Sell it and buy a professional rig.

I can't name a single DJI dual controller setup that had no issues with video TX/RX. Not a single one.

Yes. I know. Even operators in FCC complain about it.
Multilink works very nice. Lower latency and better image quality.
We should get this upgrade for free. But i gave up on complaining. I need solid data link on set.

Yes, complaints fall flat with DJI...I learnt that much the hard way...
Now I understand why they pulled coach mode from the I2 months ago...to sell these things...
So...based on first hand experience are you saying that you are satisfied? Did you test the range?
