I cannot connect to the Osmo Pocket via bluetooth.  I keep getting a time out message on my iPhone XS Max.  the only wat I can connect wirelessly is to connect to the Osmo wifi network.  Anyone else having this issue?

Hi, we're sorry to know about this situation. We've verified this matter into our designated department. Unfortunately, we have to be connected to the wi-fi of the wireless module as well. The mobile phone is connected to the base via Wi-Fi. Adding a Bluetooth connection skips the need to enter a Wi-Fi password, helping to enhance the user experience. Thank you for understanding.

You cannot connect Bluetooth - only starting with Bluetooth, then Wifi ... 2.4 GHz

As mentioned above. The Bluetooth is only to initialize/setup the WiFi connection.
All other data is transmitted / received over WiFi
