Hello!

Curious if the Ronin-S will work with a Sony NX80 (or Z90).  I know it's a different form factor, but they are pretty small.

If not the Ronin-S, I assume the Ronin-M will work?

Thanks in advance.

Hi, thanks for the inquiry. We're sorry that the Sony NX80 (Z90) is currently not compatible with our Ronin-S. Regarding the Ronin M compatibility, the Ronin-M supports a wide variety of camera systems that weigh less than 3.6kg (8lbs). This includes the Sony A7S, Canon 5D, Nikon D800, Panasonic GH4, and more. The Ronin-M can be easily balanced and auto-tunes to support your preferred setup. If your camera hasn't been mentioned to this Ronin-M supported cameras, please check if the camera will meet the camera tray dimension using the image below. Please refer to the images below for Ronin-S camera compatibility and Ronin-M camera tray dimension. Hope that this information would help you in regards to your query.

Hello
When you say not compatible, will it still balance and fit within the frame (for a 360 spin and upside down filming) even if the auto focus/start stop recording features don't work?

Thankyou so much

Hi, thanks for the inquiry. Actually, you may use different cameras for the Ronin -S for as long as it meets the requirements in camera tray dimensions and weight, The maximum Ronin -S payload is 3,6 kg or 8 lbs. However, since the camera is not yet compatible and fully optimized, it could only balance your camera but the features and functions can't be used. Thank you for understanding.
