I’m a owner of an Mavic Air that I bought on February 2019... when I was making the configurations  setup on the DJI GO 4 app I noticed that my lens was with condensation, anyone noticed the same on yours Mavic Air?? The Mavic Air was ON and not flying (propellers off) I was inside my place (dry place/ ambience temperatures). DJI is this normal to happen on my £900 drone???

Forgot to say... as soon I switch off the drone the condensation disappears.

Unscrew the lens and let it dry out in a climate controlled room.

This happened to my first MA which I returned because the gimbal failed.  It seemed to be caused by the battery getting super hot.  It happened twice to me; both with the same battery (same one out of 3).

As Bing Err says, try unscrewing the lens cover; if you don't have air conditioning, just leave in the sun for 15 mins.
Then fit the lens cover back.

Interesting.... I will monitoring the batteries temperature, normally condensation happens because the difference of temperatures, but still I think I have a faulty drone.

I never get condensation even in extremes of temperature change - unscrew the cap and leave it idle at room temperature in direct sun light for a while (with the battery removed of course) to thoroughly dry out. You may have some moisture in the lens causing it. How that got in there may be the root cause and may lead to you needing to return the drone but try drying it out properly first and see if that fixes it.

Hard to believe water got in before he received the drone. So how did water get in? Refurbished sunken drone? Then how?

Bought the drone new, just flew few times always with good weather, definitely something wrong with this one.... I’m going back to the shop and ask for replace/repair, anyway I have DJI care refresh... but really disappointed that an £800 drone gets is lens foggy every time is on.

Aloha Barreira,

     The problem is high humidity at some time during the assembly process.  The lens cover was put in place during high humidity in a room without air conditioning.  You can solve the problem by taking off the lens cover in a room that has had air conditioning running for a very long time or in a very dry environment like a desert.  Leave the lens cover off for an hour or two and then put it back on.  Problem solved.

     We have high humidity here in Hawai'i.  My friend got the Obsidian and had the same problem.  When you shut off the Mavic Air, the heat from the battery evaporates the condensation, so the problem goes away until the temperature returns to "normal".  You could also use this process to resolve the problem.  Take off the lens cover every time you turn off the Mavic Air so the condensation evaporates.  Fan out the exposed inner area with your open hand and then put the lens cover back on.  After a couple times the problem will go away.

so this means the optical containment is not hermetically sealed and instead vented to ambient pressure.
no wonder silica gel desiccant bags are put into camera cases and the like. optical containment must be by design VENTED? Why? would internal vacuum or overpressurization fracture optical materials? how could such drastic internal pressure changes occur from mere atmospheric conditions of flight?
that is an Achilles's tendon that can catch you off guard at your most precious camera moments.

My mavila air faced same problem
Buy a uv filter and replace the lens cover
It will be only one solution.
I am using uv filter lens
Now I ve no condensation
