Finally its all here!!!
Just updated SC with new FW (including DJI GO4 latest version even for SC/android) and IT WORKED.

Hi, Just got my Mavic 2 Zoom today - (Upgrading from a Mavic Pro). I've spent the past 4 hours trying to get it to update. Current status is showing all 4 LED's as RED - a critical error I believe.
These are the steps I went through.
1. Take delivery of M2Zoom - Smile - a lot.
2. Unbox and charge both the controller and the battery
3. Connect iPhone to Controller - load up DJI Go 4.3.3
4. Proceed to update FW as directed.
5. Update completed - Controller and AC both rebooted
and now the fun begins.....
6. RC no longer connected to AC
7. AC shows all LED's Solid Red - RC shows 'Connecting'
8. Can't retry FW update via Go4 as the RC and AC are disconnected
9. Move to PC and install DJI Assistant for Mavic 2 (Latest version from DJI website)
10. Connect AC to PC - DJI Assistant recognises M2Zoom and shows that there is an update available
11. Update FW - fails every time at 75%
12. Still can't connect RC to AC - Relink button on AC does nothing at all
13. Move to Second PC that has never had DJI assistant installed and repeat from step 9.
14. Fail - again and again and again.
15. Battery on AC now too low to continue.
16. Go downstairs - plug RC and AC battery in to their respective chargers.
17. Get Beer from fridge, (Corona - as you're asking)
18. Go back to 1st PC and Vent.
19. Contemplate whether I'll trust it in the air after so many FW issues, (if I can get it in the Air)
20. HUGELY Disappointed.


NOTHING WORKS.
THIS IS NOT HARDWARE PROBLEM.
Its the ...ty DJI Assist 2 software that doesnt work properly and corrupts instalation.
Now I have a bricked Mavic 2 Zoom and Still no Help from DJI assistance..
What a Shame DJI!!..

You must launch a DJI Assist 2 app that enables to Recover corrupt Instalations.

Yehey! It looks like they've updated the NFZ database and it's more accurate than the older version, at least in my area.  You can also get an instant unlock code from DJI to fly, at your own risk, in some NFZ area.  There is also a newer firmware update that was just released in the afternoon on 4/26/2019.  Hopefully, that will fix all the bugs and issues.

Same here.... My new M2P is now bricked and on its way back to DJI due to this FW update failing, after multiple attempts it finally completed however it can not sync with the controller anymore, now displaying critical error.

I've updated 4 M2Z's via DJI Assistant, my personal plus 3 for work with no probs. Lucky I guess. Now just waiting on v4.3.16 for the Crystal Sky's .

Just got the app for Android automatically updated via PlayStore (Redmi 5, Germany). Firmware on aircraft M2Z was already updated with dji assistant several days ago. Will check out on next sunny day,
Unfortunately none of the issues with WP 2.0 has been addressed.

DOesn’t work for me.  I have V01.00.0300 and DJI Assistant shows latest version .0400 with UPGRADE button active...  I’ve tried on a couple of different occasions now to upgrade, and it gets stuck on 2% DOWNLOADED.  Since my controller (nor DJI Go 4) doesn’t tell me I need an upgrade, I guess I’ll pass on this one.  Don’t feel good leaving the aircraft powered up with fan going for that long to see if something is ever going to happen.

Are there any more reports of bricked M2 with this firmware?

I’d like to know from DJI what exactly was in this update? All they say is ‘bug fixes’. 440mb is a hell of a lot of ‘bugs’ to fix. Some transparency DJI.............

My DJI Go 4 app has updated to 4.3.17 (iOS) but the app doesn't let me update the firmware, still showing 01.000.0300 after checking for update. HAs anyone the same issue? And wiuld know the work around (short of trying to use the desktop app?

Hi everyone!

Updated Mavic 2 Pro today and now drone "floats" left to right like it can't position itself properly.

Same problem but amplified with hyperlapse waypoint mode – it drifts away aiming the camera module in completely different direction than initially set.

Any solutions?

Try do IMU and vision system calibration I think that will help.

Yesterday I tried to download the new firmware via "Assistant2 for Mavic" but stuck on 2%.

I use firmware from factory (produced in Nov 2018) and everything is fine.
Why you are trying to upgrade? Something is not fine?

Thank you so much!  Basically it will work in future firmware updates only in 2.4ghz.  do you know if the new update (v01.00.04.00) that was lunch on March already have this?  Or it will be in future firmware updates?

That is not correct statement 2,4 ghz only is for old Mavic Pro, Mavic 2 have both 2,4 and 5ghz

How you upload the firmware when you have the smart controller ? You need to connect a phone at the smart controler ? Thanks

I've just updated firmware normally and do aircraft restart. Than my nfz got updated too. Waiting for some free time to do test flights.

My flying experience has been ruined with this new update.I can no longer fly where I live. Every morning  I capture the sunrise or the fog rolling into Daly City from my house near Fort Funston. Now my drone will no longer launch because it's considered a No Fly Zone. Meanwhile you see dozens of hang gliders flying around directly above me, some even going well above 400 feet.

My Mavic 2 is no longer useable for my purposes. I wish I could revert back the older firmware.

I recently purchased the Mavic 2 Pro after owning a Mavic Original and the Inspire 2.

After the recent update, I'm also unable to fly in most of my usual spots because of the No Fly Zones that have been updated.

How can we revert the firmware back? In the DJI 4 app, I can only roll it back to V01.00.0300. What is the easiest way to go all the way back to firmware version V01.00.0100 ?

I've tried the NLD app and it gets stuck at 15%, but I was wondering if anyone here knew how to roll back the firmware using the DJI Assistant 2 app?

Are there no more updates for the mavic 2 pro? It's not possible that I cannot do the hyperlapse because the drone continues to go up and down while it is doing it (even without wind)
