Did it, not the little swing bridge in the Norfolk Broads, but a big-ass bridge in Suffolk.
This one in fact...Was easy as until the drone lost signal, thankfully I came out the other side without any issues. Loved every minute, just what is the attraction, it's a rush!
The video is uploading (slowly) to YouTube.

Your thrill is better with none gps none collision protect and lost signal hover. Mavic air will not allow manually engaged none gps flying.
The reason to omit gps, sensory collide, and lostpair hover, is so you can respond. Otherwise possibly collide signal lost ascend ceiling obstruct bridge else rth fail

I think I understand what you're saying, an early start tomorrow as the light will be better in the morning, same location, similar flying I hope!

I'm trying to explain what you should do bettering chances of survival.
You already know encountered lost signal.
It cant go away.
So for brief outage, like under ten seconds, drone configured without any fwd aft collide sensory and unpair=hover, you wont kill the aircraft unless you drive crooked!

Maybe reposition yourself so none pair outage ?

Ah understood, once though I came out on the other side of the bridge, signal was regained  - so all was well, and I did take careful aim....they are large arches to fly through.

I already trained this way amongst tree trunks at the community park. Youd think weaving thru tree trunks would block signal since trunks are blockages but nope, solid pairing. And visual line of sight does get obstructed by tree trunks, so you resort to screen and ccw cw rotation of camera to navigate thru labyrinthine.  I still have not received reply regarding stick logarithmic config (factory received training beginner 0.4, 0.4, 0.9 for up dwn ccw cw and finally fwd rev left right

Never listen nay sayers. They are scared of something and keeping you away from being above them. Above their fears.

Ha, thank you, was way, way back in April. 100% agree that's what these big bridges were made for, I was so lucky with the weather, but road trip and an overnight in a travel lodge hotel to get there at almost sunrise. Do not know where this year has gone, been a blur!
