So finally a dry day so i took advantage of it, and flew both birds. I also used my Goggles Re's.
Both birds were in 1080p 30fps and with Neewer Nd 4 filters. I will share later which bird was used in what clip.

Very nice WOE, how would you rate flying with googles?
I would not dare to fly along a river like you with my MP1

is it the googles or the M2 that have better "protection" or are you just a excellent driver?

Like the opening sequence a lot.

Great video. I was a little surprised that you didn't get signal drop-out when flying low and going around the bends of the river.

MAVIC'S ON THE RIVER

It's like a scene in the woods of an Elf in a fantasy movie.
That's cool.

At one point I did get one minor flicker. Which was about 1500ft  away.

I love flying with the Goggles. Flying with the MP1 is a !0 all the way.

Btw I'm just a excellent driver. The Zoom with all it's safety features is awesome

but when flying with the goggles the MP1 is unmatched.

both of my favorite things fishing and flying

Good for you mate. I've been from one side of England to the other and back again these past few days visiting family with my wife and son over the Easter with beautiful weather. Managed to get three flights in on Friday but that was it. Great weekend all the same though.

Love it when that happens. I often look for places to pull over en route and find the unexpected ones to be the best.

My experience with the zoom is limited of course, but the difference is night and day.

The signal is solid with the MP and I don't feel as if I'm going to lose my bird, I don't
have that secure feel with the zoom when flying with the goggles. I have yet to lose
connection with the MP just flickering and thats 2 plus mile out. But have had total signal
drop with the Zoom at half mile out.

Usually is mate - I find one of the most important things to keep the mojo going in this hobby is to change flight locations quite frequently if you're flying a lot.

oooh, that comes as a surprise, thought the Zoom was better in signal as well as the other "upgrades" but one learn new things every day.

What happens when you lose signal with googles, RTH?

when you say "racing" do you mean cars or drones?

Because I was still connected to my controller there was no RTH. I turned off
the goggles and was reconnected to my iPad. Not sure what would happen if your only
using the goggles. The zoom is better in every way, just not with the goggles..

Micro Racing drones they are the perfect trainer.

ok, thats good so you are not "lost" if the googles mail function,

Do you have any tips for a good racing drone, with a camera that is not so expensive?
Would love to try it, do you have googles to that one or is it a remote like the mavic?

What I did was purchased the JJrc H31 for $30 and a cheap 5.8 25m camera for around $20
and a cheap pair of eachine 007 for $70. I purchased the drone because it's waterproof. Rubber
band the camera and a bigger battery and it a blast. 3 speeds and flips 100m range great trainer.

Now I only use my Goggles Re's when flying my racers or Mavic's.
