I was wondering if it's possible to use the DJI Mimo app to record a video with the osmo pocket and then perhaps launch the phones camera app to take pics at the same time.
Will the Mimo app record whist it isn't the main focus on the phone?

I was thinking of using a scenario where the osmo pocket is tripod mounted and then controlled by a wired connection or wireless. Starting to record something and then taking pictures with your phone at the same time?

Technical equipment only works with HALF lightspeed, you need FULL lightspeed!

The mimo doesn’t record anything onto the phones’ storage - it’s all stored on-camera until the files are copied to the app. So, you could use the phone to set up the OP, then disconnect it from phone, then use both devices as you see fit.

Hi, thanks for the inquiry. The recording on the application might be interrupted due to that the device is currently using the defualt camera application. However, the Osmo Pocket itself can be recorded without using the DJI Mimo app, therefore, you could still maximize the usage of your phone for capturing photos.
