Just curious of anyone if flying with Airmap.  I am guessing that you cant have DJI G04 and Airmap running at the same time.  Anyone have any insight on that?

Not using AirMap to fly, only for LAANC. But pretty much all 3rd-party flight apps (Pix4D capture, Drone Deploy, Litchi, etc.) work the same way, which is that for a given flight you either run them or GO but not simultaneously. They don't share well. You can switch back and forth between flights of course.

Hello and god day Anokadrone. Thank you for reaching out and for the inquiry. We're hoping that you could get the best recommendation about the Airmap. Just a friendly reminder, DJI is not recommending our customers to use different third-party applications as this may reflect into the warranty in any case that the drone experiences incident. However, it would still depend on the customer's preferences. Thank you for understanding.

Just a followup-

Can't speak for iOS but in Android if you're going to install and use multiple flight control apps on the same mobile device you want to make sure that you don't let any of them become the default app when the RC is connected to the device. If one does, it will automatically fire up and take ownership of the RC/AC, preventing any other from connecting. Then you have to go into apps, force it to quit, and remove its default status.

So when you connect the RC and get to choose which app to use, be sure to tap "Just Once" (not "Always") so that you'll continue to get a choice the next time you connect it.

Thanks guys, Airmap looks handy for flight planning so its tempting to use it. but for photo missions, Litchi seems to work great.
