In last firmware update, DJI said: "Added support for the remote controller without a built-in display for use with Mobile SDK apps"


What does it mean?
How can we connect other RC to phantom RTK or What type of RC can connet to it?

How I read it, you can buy a controller without the intergrated screen and then use a tablet/phone to connect to the controller via USB. You would be required to use the DJI Ground Station App instead of the GS RTK App that is on current integrated controller.

I have a Phantom 4 RC.
But I haven't succeeded in making connection between P4 RTK and RC.
I think we need some app like Dji Go 4 with ability to support P4 RTK to establish connection between drone and RC.
Till now I haven't tested GS RTK with other RC without built-in display. Maybe works!

Regular P4 RC is Lightbridge. P4P RTK is Occusync. Not compatible.

Maybe with a P4P V2 RC. I have one available but haven't tried it.
