Nothing better than sitting on Mindil Beach watching the tide receding at sunset ! (Maybe I should add eating a delicious Asian takeaway dish for the ultimate in pleasure !)

Lol. Got to love the market. I have recorded some footage at Mindil but after stumbling across a few posts elsewhere found out that Mindil is a no fly zone so not sure what to do. I always thought the drone won't take of in a NFZ so bit confused why it did.

I've never updated the firmware on my trusty Phantom 3A  so not familiar with any of the inbuilt "no fly zone" software "features". introduced over the past couple of years.
It's a shame as Mindil Beach and Markets would have made a brilliant and colourful bit of video footage!

Trouble is, anywhere near Darwin city is within the range of the airport, so it would be a NFZ zone.

Good one King_Flight. More than a few funny stories rom that area. Good thing no drones in the day.
