This is what my son-in law gave to me today as a suprice. He made it with his 3D printer for my new AC.
Perfect fit and it latches in 100%. Now I can put the batteries in carry case and know that the terminals are full protected.
The last 2 photos are a protective cover that just protect the battery terminals also fit 100%.
Personally I prefer the 1st option.
I need to add the DJI Mavic Air is fantastic and very pleased with the quality, performanc and capabilities.

Maybe you could please explain why?
If one store the lipo battery in explosive proof bag it would be also sealed even more.

Maybe I need to expand on my post.
The protective case in NOT made of silicon but of solid  "plastic" ie. hard shell.
Their is thus still breating space for the battery.
I shall optain the type of material used and update my post. Personally think is a good idea as it would protect the pins from contamination during handeling and storage.
All comments and view points are welcome and could only provide more information on the reliability and durability of the AC as a total system.

Very nice. Here are some cool MA battery terminal covers I printed in PLA in various colors (very quick prints on a Makerbot). They only cover the exposed battery terminals, but they do that task very nicely by fitting over & gently “gripping” the terminals just right. The .stl file is (or was, anyway...) available on thingiverse.com. Besides red & white, I also printed out sets in green, yellow & orange! Ya never know!!

The one's that my son-in law made for me is also made from PLA Plastic Filament: Stands for polylactic acid. Made from renewable resources (i. e. corn starch, tapioca roots, or sugarcane). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polylactic_acid

the inadvertently spilled coffee that ruined the laptop keyboard electrified contacts regardless membrane principled.
keyword: inadvertently (be cautious)
keyword: boot, rather, pocket (retains liquid)

many electrified junctions that can be taken apart, as in quick disconnect, are rubber booted over to keep out liquid. still mishaps occur because the boot gets removed for access. the human can then error, of course, inadvertently
