Thank you. The higher waterfall was not easy because of wind.
2 of over 50 pictures were almost OK. If you zoom in you see that.
This one is also mostly OK.

I use also MP which I bought used.
For some reason I don't get the P3S to work well with filters.

The highest polar pro do for the original MP is the ND64 I believe

You've gone too far IMO, the water looks great but the rest of the image looks like it's been run through a watercolour filter in PS

Love the shots. Must have been difficult with the wind howling through the gaps there so good piloting!

Quick question -- I like both views, with and without the filter. What does the ND1000 filter provide in advantage in viewing over a non-filter pic? Maybe I just don't have that artistic an eye for these things, cause I think both look great!

If you have used ND 1000 filter on drone you have seen that low light
and high wind don't mix so well. This was more test to see if it will work.
Also I think the focus is to much on the waterfall.
The cliffs on the right and bottom left of picture are 200 or 300 meters closer than
the waterfall and the cliffs on the right.
In good weather it is possible to go much lower and closer to the waterfall,
but that include flying in ATTI mode because it's no GPS down there.
About the color, its Iceland you don't have much colors now at this time of year.

Thank you. You should look at this set from Polar Pro
It will give you much more control over speed in low light.

The wind was not so bad down there. It was just newer from the same direction.
ND filters like this is used for long exposures.
The ND 1000 filter  add 10 stops to the F number.
The first picture is taker at 1/320 sec and ISO 100
#2 is taken at 1,3 sec and ISO 400
#3 is taken at 1/320 sec ISO 100
and #4 is at 3 sec ISO 200

That's right. Its about the F-stops and what the particular ND adds. I knew I knew that! Thanks for the clarification, and again, great shots!

That's my point exactly, ND 1000 is too dark for the drone i.e. it's not able to keep it's position well enough  to produce a sharp image.

IMO from a testing point of view the result would be a fail and I'd suggest dropping down to a lower filter as you generally don't need an ND1000 for waller falls.

Alternatively have you tried image stacking?

If I would have ND 128 I surely would use it as that will fit this kind of light.
It is possible to get clear and good pictures with ND 1000 in right light and no wind.
It has been posted here last year, don't remember if it was Hallmark007, did not find it again.
About the stacking, I just have one rule and it's to newer edit photos or change the color.
I just down scale it to fit in here.
