Quite amazing - a wild fox and a drone in the same field - the two things that frighten the public the most lol why - I have no idea!

Thanks - they are sadly quite rare to spot in these parts nowadays despite it thankfully being illegal for the toffs to kill them for sport!

I did - he stayed where he is then came quite close to me after disarming the motors. I took some more shots with my phone.

Morons have hunted these beautiful and intelligent animals for far too long.  I hope they rust in their graves.  Beautiful capture, especially that first picture of that inquisitive head poking out.  Enjoyed.

They are very intelligent - he also showed no fear of the drone. Just very inquisitive though he never asked how high it can go and how much it cost - far too classy for that lol

The Mavic 2 Pro - I don't own the zoom but this is one occasion when I could have done with that feature. I still got some close up's after landing the drone though.

Mate thats brilliant, I have had a Labrador go mad beneath my Drone before, but never anything like this, how long did he/she sit and watch for?

What a capture! The Fox doesn’t appear to be spooked by the drone. Despite the laws, think that they get hunted ‘around these parts’ still, so not a common site any more. Saw more when we lived in SE17 than in Norfolk.

About ten minutes mate - as you can see he/she came up very close to me after I landed too. Seemed quite tame and was rolling around playing - wasn't frightened by the drone at all. I was careful not to get too close as it may have cubs somewhere in the woods but when it realised all was good it stuck around. Wish I had some chicken pieces with me to feed it - awesome animal.

That is sadly the case - more people marched on London to lift the fox ban than they did against the illegal war in Iraq... The British are a strange breed at times! It is thankfully still illegal to hunt on public land in England, Wales and Scotland and despite loop holes enabling legal hunting of foxes it is frowned upon very heavily in the UK as deemed a social class divide as much as being nothing but absolutely cruel. Banning it here was one of Tony Blair's better actions shall we say but it still continues. The land where I was flying is too small for hunting and horses are banned on that land as controlled by the council and adjacent to a large London borough - the fox is very safe here which is why he/she was so friendly I guess.
