Quick question,

In the past, the DJI GO settings for EXP used to default to 0.40, 0.40, 0.40 (throttle, rudder, fwd/bwd).

Now I find with the latest DJI GO 4 on my new Mavic 2 Pro that the defaults are 0.25, 0.20, 0.25.

My problem with that is that before, changing the rudder from 0.40 to 0.15 (or 0.20) gave you smooth yaw, which is nice for cinematic control (less jerky stick actions).

But now, changing the rudder from 0.20 to 0.10 (the lowest possible setting) does not seem as smooth as before.

Notes
  • I am not in Tripod, APAS, or any Intelligient Flight modes.
  • I realize there is the Cinematic and Tripod modes for smoother fliming — I'm just trying to confirm if a) these are the new defaults, or b) I'm doing something wrong.

Thanks, Chris

Can anybody please just check this out? Go to your Advanced Settings and hit Reset Gain & Expo Tuning (write it down so you can quickly set it back) and confirm what your defaults are (either .40 .40 .40, or .25, .20, .25).

M2P with the latest DJI GO 4

Thanks, Chris

I just checked : .25 .20 .25 in NORMAL mode and .25 .35 .35 in SPORT mode

I dont shot video, so I did not change these settings.

Thanks for checking -- I appreciate it.

And I'm disappointed with DJI. I really would have like to have had the finer manual control for cinematic purposes, not forced to use the other tripod or "cinematic" custom modes, which have their disadvantages.
