i am interested in knowing if the altitude limit on my phantom 4 pro v.2 can be adjusted so i can fly higher than 400' above my launch site?  i fly often in remote areas along the side of high cliffs, and on mountainsides i am hiking.....i would like to scout the best way to go (no trails available), and also am curious about circumstances higher than my 400' limit.....i know there are rule that apply to most locations, but where i am there is nothing but nothing......any way i can adjust my controller to allow a higher flight?

Yes you can go higher, there is no limit on the P4P, but its FAA regulation that you dont higher than 400ft.

Hi, thanks for the inquiry.  The maximum altitude that can be set on the DJI GO 4 app is up to 500m, therefore you could still fly your drone higher than 400m. However, the height that would show in the app is the height where the drone took off. Hope that this information would satisfy your query for today.

Your Phantom has a fixed limit of 500 metres.
It also has a user configurable Max Altitude limit  which comes set at the default value of 400 feet.
